Sponson sailing canoe

Early open gunwhale sponson canoe, needs rails, seats, decks, stem  tips, and a total restoration
Boat is complete, but rough. Buoyancy provided by sponsons will make an ideal sailing canoe with lots of flotation, even swamped
Batwing lateen, made by Todd Bradshaw of Addiction Sails. Bad photo, but same sail as below. No more to be made, Todd has retired.  Centerboard installation similar to Old Town below, will take the place of the leeboards needed for lateral resistance.  The boat that Peterborough/Chestnut never made, this donor boat will be a perfect candidate as it needs so much work.

On its way home to Ontario
